Nottingham
Victoria Centre opened in 1972 as one of the first of the new generation of shopping centres to be built in the UK from the 1970s. Regenerating a redundant railway station, this mixed-use scheme incorporates 464 flats as well as 36,000 sq. ft. of offices. The centre, which was extended in 1997 to introduce a second department store, provides a third of Nottingham’s retail offer.
Victoria Centre provides the focus for every shopping trip, with excellent public transport, good on-site parking and a wide range of customer facilities. John Lewis and House of Fraser department stores head the comprehensive list of major retailers with full line stores such as Topshop, Republic, Monsoon, Next and Gap.
